Step by Step Ultrasound Guided PICC Insertion Learning to use ultrasound to aid critical thinking for vein selection is the essence of this program. In this course we focus on ultrasound use for PICC placement at the bedside, specifically vessel identification and visualization to aid needle access. Management of Non-Thrombotic Catheter Occlusions In this program, we analyze the causes, signs, symptoms and treatments for catheter occlusions that are not related to blood/thrombus formation. Management of Thrombotic Catheter Occlusions Analyze the causes, signs, symptoms and treatment protocols for thrombotic occlusions. The course also provides strategies for the prevention of thrombotic occlusions with CVCs. PICC Site Assessment This program defines site assessment and identifies the four reasons to perform a daily PICC site assessment. ECG/Terminal Tip Positioning Systems The ECG/Terminal Tip Positioning Systems program teaches you how and why the electrocardiogram (ECG) is an effective system for guided tip positioning of a central venous catheter. CVC Removal The CVC Removal program reviews when and how to safely remove a central venous access device. How the Multi-user Site License Works:
A general account (portal) is created for your organization when the multi-user Site License application form is completed and submitted. The Users access this portal one time to create their individual accounts using the organizations multi-user site License Access ID and password. The user will log into their newly created account and have access to all courses available through the license. They will be able to take the courses, take the post-test, print the certificates, and track CE credits. All testing is done online through our programs. CE Certificates are immediately printable once the education program is successfully completed.
