The goal of this course is to provide an understanding of parenteral nutrition. It educates the clinician on how to administer the appropriate care for patients requiring parenteral nutrition and other intravenous infusions.

Parenteral Nutrition and Infusion Therapies

This program provides an overview of the definition of parenteral nutrition, common components, and methods of administration for parenteral nutrition. Also discussed are other infusion therapies such as chemotherapy. The program also provides information regarding possible complications that may occur with parenteral nutrition therapy.
