This program offers the medical professional, active in the insertion of Midlines and/or Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters, the opportunity to receive updated, advanced information on Catheter Exchange.
The materials will cover catheter exchange by both through the sheath and over the wire methods providing risks and benefits to each procedure.

Program Objectives:
  1. Identify at least 4 indications for catheter exchange
  2. State steps of insertion process
  3. Recognize 2 risks of catheter exchange as it applies to peripherally inserted central catheters
