Here’s a glimpse of what each day holds:
Day 1: Beginning at 8:00 am with a FIT Test and moving on to the Vascular Access team as they comprehensively review and discuss Ultrasound-Guided PIV, PICCs, Midlines, Auxiliary Central Venous Access Devices, Mid-Thigh Femoral, and Jugular Catheters. Each day will include observation and shadowing of insertions based on real cases and orders of patients from pediatrics through adults as available.
Days 2 through 3: Your experience is personalized with one-on-one sessions with the instructor, who guides you through observed insertions, integrating ultrasound assessment, and guided access with insertion procedures.
