We are excited to announce that the renewal period for CPUI Certification has been extended to three years! To renew your certification, please carefully review the conditions and criteria provided below. Do not forget to click on the link for the revised CPUI Renewal Application and complete the Continuing Education Summary Form.
CPUI Renewal Applicant must have:
1. Previously attained CPUI Certification through PICC Excellence, Inc. Please see the CPUI Certification information if not currently CPUI Certified
2. A current supervised competency assessment, signed by preceptor and performer
3. Performed a minimum of 36 ultrasound-guided PICC insertions over the last 3 years
4. Completed 6 article/program review templates (or CEs) to confirm continuing education in the area of vascular access. Please submit the class certificate or proof of attendance or Continuing Education Summary Form.
