Tacoma, WASHINGTON - Pediatric PICC Midline Ultrasound and UGPIV Workshop with 5 Days Precepting 2023/2024

PICC Excellence is delighted to offer a live insertion training experience for Pediatric PICC, Midlines, UGPIV and specific ultrasound education.
YOU set the dates you wish to attend this five-day training workshop. You will travel to Tacoma, WASHINGTON where you will work alongside the Vascular Access instructor to establish your understanding and competency with ultrasound guided insertions. You will see and participate in the inner workings of a very successful team as they share tips and tricks for greater success in all aspects of insertion, management and reimbursement.

Registration allows for 1 attendee for each 5-day session. At the completion of the five days of training, you will be ready to apply what you have learned and the skills you have gained inserting Pediatric PICCs, Midlines, & UGPIV on live patients to your workplace.

The workshop provides intensive training for the beginner or advanced inserter wanting to learn more and is open to any licensed clinician or physician who desires qualification for PICC, Midline & UGPIV insertion.
Day 1: The Vascular Access Team will review and discuss Basic PICC, Midline & UGPIV insertion with ultrasound, provide simulation with ultrasound, perform practice procedures and supervised insertions.
Day 2 through 5: Attendees will work one on one with the instructor to perform supervised insertions integrating ultrasound assessment and guided access with insertion procedures.

For a LIMITED TIME, included in the workshop is an upgrade, this workshop includes access to PICC Excellence Education Express, an $895 value. The Education Express provides access to not only the 8 courses required, but the 75+ additional online courses on our website for an entire year from the date of purchase.

Pre-requisite online courses are listed below and must be completed prior to the workshop. A printed summary sheet of the completed education will be provided to the instructor upon arrival to show you have met the education requirements.

To Register: Create a private account from our homepage or login to your current active account at www.piccexcellence.com.
Once logged in, go to the Course Catalog to choose and purchase the workshop you wish to attend. The OnSite training hospitals require you to be approved before setting dates. Approval can take up to 2 weeks. Once you are approved, it will be a minimum of 3 weeks to schedule you for attendance.
When your registration is complete, we will send a confirmation for the workshop and then add the Education Express to your account. You will have the rest of the year to work on the additional classes in your account.

This workshop takes place at Mary Bridges Hospital/MultiCare in Tacoma, WASHINGTON. Required documentation needs to be gathered and made into pdf format before you begin the onboarding process. The first day begins at 0800.

PICC Excellence reserves the right to cancel any workshop two (2) weeks prior to class date. If PICC Excellence cancels or postpones a class, students may reschedule and/or maintain a credit for any educational product.
Every workshop requires documentation to be submitted for approval to attend the workshop. No refund will be issued when deadlines for vaccination and qualifying documentation are not met. NO REFUNDS are issued for this workshop! If a participant cannot make the agreed upon training dates, the student may reschedule to later training dates.
Workshop registrants may change their workshop dates at least two weeks before the scheduled workshop one time for no charge, if there is space available in the next scheduled workshop.
After the first date change, registrants may be charged a non-refundable fee of $250.00 to re-schedule workshop dates.
If, for some reason, the participant cannot attend a scheduled workshop they must contact via phone PICC Excellence at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. If PICC Excellence is not notified prior to a no-show, the workshop and the re-scheduling opportunity is forfeited.

We appreciate your understanding. Many resources and arrangements are involved in scheduling high-quality, expert-led, hands-on, workshops. Customized materials are provided for each person.
Participation and follow-through for attendance, and notification when schedules must be changed, is vital.
