PICC Excellence, Inc. is pleased to offer workshops for vascular access training. Instructor-led, group training classes are held several times throughout the year at St Josephs Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Our instructor is Matthew Ostroff, RN, ARNP, CPUI, VA-BC Advanced Level Vascular Access Peripheral and Central Catheter Instructor.
This Workshop is intended for adult clinicians wanting to gain more expertise with ultrasound guided peripheral and midline catheter insertions. The first morning of the Workshop is spent reviewing online education, completion is required prior to the workshop, and answering questions. Emphasis is on special considerations for use of ultrasound, vein selection and insertion tips. In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to see patient insertions as well as perform hands-on simulation practice insertions, incorporating ultrasound. There are immunization and documentation required to participate in the workshop at St. Josephs Hospital setting. This documentation must be submitted within 14 days of purchasing the Workshop. Your registration will not complete until this documentation is received and approved.
