PICC Excellence is excited to invite you to join our live insertion training experience, an enriching opportunity focused on Adult PICC, Midlines, UGPIV, and specialized ultrasound education. Join our immersive 5-day vascular access training in Lewiston, Maine, with flexible date options to suit your schedule. Collaborate with an experienced instructor mastering ultrasound-guided insertions, gaining valuable insights for success, insertion, and management.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to build a solid foundation or an advanced inserter eager to refine your techniques, this workshop is designed for you. We extend a warm welcome to licensed clinicians and physicians aspiring to obtain qualification in PICC, Midline, and UGPIV Insertion. Registration includes admission for one attendee to a 5-day session. Upon completing this comprehensive training, you’ll be ready to apply your new found knowledge and skills confidently, performing Adult PICCs, Midlines, and UGPIV insertions on live patients at your facility.

Here’s a glimpse of what each day holds:

Day 1: Beginning at 8:00 am the Vascular Access team will comprehensively review and discuss basic PICC, midline, and UGPIV insertion with ultrasound. The day will include simulations with ultrasound, practice procedures, and supervised insertions.

Days 2 through 5: Your experience is personalized with one-on-one sessions with the instructor, guiding you through supervised insertions, integrating ultrasound assessment, and guided access with insertion procedures.

In preparation for the workshop, please be advised that the following prerequisite online courses must be completed before the beginning of the workshop. A printed summary sheet of your completed education will be required upon your arrival, serving as verification that you have fulfilled the education requirements.

To Register: Create a private account from our homepage or login to your current active account.
Upon successful login, navigate to the Course Catalog where you can select and purchase the workshop of your choice. Please note for on-site training at hospitals, approval is a prerequisite before scheduling dates. The approval process may take up to two weeks. Upon approval/acceptance from the hospital, PICC Excellence will schedule your attendance for the next available opportunity.

Additionally, we secure top-notch facilities to ensure you have the best possible learning experience. We operate on a first come first serve basis, allowing clinicians the best chance to enrich their skills. Life, however, is full of surprises, and we understand that sometimes plans change. If you ever find yourself needing to reschedule your workshop attendance, these guidelines are here to assist you.

WORKSHOP DATE CHANGES
Workshop registrants may change their workshop date once at no extra cost up to thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled workshop. A $100.00 non-refundable fee applies to second or subsequent rescheduling requests.

UNEXPECTED CANCELLATIONS
If for any reason the registrant is unable to attend the scheduled workshop, registrants MUST contact PICC Excellence by phone to speak with our Communication Administrator at (888) 714-1951 or (706) 377-3360. Failure to speak with PICC Excellence forfeits both the workshop and the ability to reschedule the workshop. NO-SHOWS to workshop days are not eligible to be rescheduled.

PICC EXCELLENCE RIGHTS RESERVED
PICC Excellence reserves the right to cancel any workshop up to fourteen (14) calendar days before the scheduled workshop date. In the event of a cancellation or postponement by PICC Excellence, you will have the option to reschedule or maintain a credit for any educational product. Your understanding and cooperation in these matters are greatly appreciated. Regrettably, refunds are not available for this workshop.
