Fluid and electrolyte balance can be very complex. When we can identify the underlying cause for fluid and electrolyte imbalances, it becomes easier to initiate the most appropriate treatment leading to improved patient health. This course will help you to recognize and provide the appropriate intervention when an imbalance occurs with the patient condition and avoid actions that might negatively impact a patient receiving intravenous therapy.
