Pediatric MST/Ultrasound Training

This class is for the beginning inserter and includes two days of intensive training. Day one covers training in the basic PICC Modified Seldinger Technique including didactic training and a practicum with simulated insertions. Day 2 integrates ultrasound assessment and guided access into the overall PICC insertion procedure. The combination of these two classes will equip you with the latest techniques in PICC insertion procedures to begin supervised insertions on patients at your facility. This class is taught by Linda Burns, a PICC specialist with 15 years of experience. The class is held at Children's Health Care of Atlanta located at 1680 Tullie Circle, Atlanta Georgia.
