Success rates for accessing veins have climbed steadily with the introduction of ultrasound. Inserting PICCs with Ultrasound includes an actual insertion, from patient education to final pressure dressing on the completed insertion. It offers 4.5 hours of continuing education and is best used in conjunction with the Basic PICC Qualification Training Program.

This program is in video format and includes a manual that can be downloaded and used for future reference. Successful completion of the post-test with a score of 80% or higher is necessary to receive continuing education credits for this program.
