The use of ultrasound is the new standard for physicians and clinicians inserting vascular access devices. This short webinar program is for the beginning ultrasound user. The goal of this online training program is to teach the basics of ultrasound - what it is, how it works, how to hold and use the probe and how to control what you see on the screen. Note: this program does NOT teach vein access. It is part one of a four part program. It teaches the basics of the ultrasound unit: how to hold the probe, how to get the best picture on the screen, different probe movements and when to use them. This is an excellent place for the beginning ultrasound user to start!!
