CPUI is renewed every 3 years and requires minimal submissions.  To renew, you must have:

1. Previously attained CPUI Certification through PICC Excellence, Inc. Please see the CPUI Certification tab if not currently CPUI Certified
2. A current supervised competency assessment, signed by the preceptor and performer
3. Performed a minimum of 36 ultrasound-guided PICC insertions over the last 3 years
4. Completed 6 article/program review templates (or CE’s) to confirm continuing education in the area of vascular access. Please submit the class certificate or proof of attendance or Continuing Education Summary Form
