CEO
Nancy L. Moureau, RN, BSN, CRNI, CPUI
Nancy Moureau is a Vascular Access Consultant, educator, PICC specialist and founder and CEO of PICC Excellence, Inc. An internationally recognized speaker on PICCs and general issues with Intravenous practice, Nancy has presented all over the US, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and South America. She works as a legal consultant for Intravenous issues and has published more than 50 articles in medical and trade journals. Nancy consults with many manufacturers on special projects, education, creating market analyses, sales training, on product development, and improvement of existing products in the Vascular Access field. PICC Excellence provides vascular access consulting and training services with hospitals, individuals, and manufacturers. Her areas of focus are: Venous access devices, central venous catheter troubleshooting, education with ultrasound, infection prevention, use of thrombolytics, and management of complications of infusion therapy. Her research interests are: Clinical applications of thrombolytics, flushing, ultrasound practices, and electrocardiographic tip location.
A pioneer in multimedia education for PICCs, PICC Excellence has developed many forms of training, including DVDs and Online Education on this site, used by nurses and other medical professionals around the world. Always at the forefront, PICC Excellence is collaborating with manufacturers to transition Online Educational programs into Spanish and other languages. Various projects include: Expansion of ultrasound educational programs, concentration on patient safety and National Patient Safety Goal education, extensive work with Vessel Health & Preservation as a new standard of practice for intentional selection, and management of vascular access services.

Kim Cope
Kim has been with PICC Excellence since 1995. Born in Alabama, she received her degree in Accounting from Auburn University. She has worn many hats working with PICC Excellence over the past 15 years, including Accounting, Customer Service, Shipping and Marketing. If you have contacted PICC Excellence, you most likely had contact with Kim. Our company’s flex-time option allows her to manage her position as Finance Manager while being with her family as much as possible. Balancing career with family time has always been her #1 priority.

Nancy Rene League
Nancy Rene is the Certification Administrator and Office Manager for PICC Excellence. She oversees the day-to-day operations at our home office in Hartwell, GA. Making our office a relaxed, positive, encouraging, and pleasant place to work is high on her list. She cheerfully answers the phone and responds to inquiries made at our website. Nancy Rene gives our customers a person to connect to rather than have them face the frustration of talking to an electronic device. As Administrative Assistant, she allows Nancy Moureau more time for other endeavors.
Nancy Rene enjoys reading, gardening, singing in choir, travel, sewing, her dog Bebe’ and family. She is married to Richard and has 3 grown sons: Trevor (USMC) a Contractor in the Middle East, T. Alan (Navy Corpsman) stationed in Naples, Italy, and Tristan (Air Force) San Antonio,TX .
CIO - Chief Information Officer
George Moureau
George is the Chief Information Officer with PICC Excellence. He graduated from Jacksonville University with a Degree in Computer Information Systems in 1983. His responsibilities include Programming, Database Administration, Network Administration, Help Desk, Videography, and editing for all DVDs and Online Courses. All of our Continuing Education courses are produced in house thanks to George’s techno-savvy abilities. He manages our website and all of our in-house computers, laptops, printers, copiers, main frame, telephone systems, and troubleshooting. George makes sure we are all up and running and that we know how to use the latest technology, gadgets and software.
George is an avid photographer, videographer, and loves to play golf, traveling frequently to tournaments in the southeast. And, of course, George always has the latest in large flat screen HDTV, with a blue-ray system on which he plays the most recently released video games.
CQA - Chief Quality Administrator
Ken Little
Ken is a recently retired High School Science teacher and coach. He only works with PICC Excellence a short time each week, but his time is well spent. Ken oversees our testing procedures, arranges for randomizing of tests, does reports, and is currently heading up our efforts to have the PICC Excellence CPUI (Certified PICC Ultrasound Inserter) Certification program accredited. He also takes care of all of our shipping.
Ken enjoys working with youth at his church, going camping and on missions trips with the youth. He is active with the Scottish Games, church, Choir, and his family and pet goat. When Ken retired last year, his best present was a new granddaughter, Chloe. After joking for many years about being a goat farmer when he retired, he received an 18 hour old baby goat (Albert). This fall, Ken and his wife Jane become empty nesters when their youngest son leaves for college in Athens, GA.
Operations Manager
Sally W. Tate
Sally Tate is the newest member of the PICC Excellence, Inc. team. She comes out of retirement from a 30 year career in the telecommunications industry. She started her career in 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida for Southern Bell and held various positions of increasing responsibilities in the Network organization. Sally spent 3 years in a rotational teaching assignment in Lisle, Illinois and returned to BellSouth in Atlanta. In her years with BellSouth she was an engineer, loop electronics coordinator, facility manager, and executive support for the Science & Technology organization along with the Network organization.
Sally will be working with Nancy Rene in the day to day operations of PICC Excellence, Inc. She is excited about getting back to work with such a world renowned company and learning about vascular access and the associated issues from Nancy Moureau.
Sally Tate graduated from the College of Charleston (SC) with a degree in Mathematics and has always loved the history and beauty that city holds, so she gets back as often as possible. Sally has always loved the outdoors, having walked in 5 marathons and 5 half marathons. After she completed the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk, she hung up her shoes for a while for the blisters to heal. She has been married for over 20 years to Bryan and has 2 grown stepdaughters and is currently raising her grandson, who is 7 years old.
Clinical Support
Robert B. Dawson MSA, BSN, RN, CRNI, CPUI
Rob Dawson graduated suma cum laude from Norwich University with a BSN in 1998. He was immediately commissioned in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps. Navy nursing provided Rob ample opportunity for training in a variety of healthcare settings. He served aboard the USNS Comfort Hospital Ship and at prestigious teaching facilities: Walter Reed Army Medical Center and The National Naval Medical Center (The President’s Hospital). After earning a graduate degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University, Rob left the Navy and worked as a nursing administrator and emergency room nurse. In 2004, an opportunity to become a vascular access nurse was presented. Rob served as a vascular access nurse and manager of a vascular access team until November 2008.
Rob has published articles in the Journal for the Association for Vascular Access and Nursing 2010. He obtained CRNI and CPUI credentials and is currently in a Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Rob is a part-time consultant and clinician while in school. His true passion is educating about a systems approach to vascular access care and team building. Rob presented a poster on the systems approach at the 2008 INS Meeting and spoke about this at the 2009 MEVAN Annual Conference in Portland, ME. Ultimately Rob wants to raise the level of vascular access team care by pursuing more education opportunities and building an advanced vascular access professional training program.
PICC Instructor
Linda Burns - RN, CRNI
In 1985 Linda graduated with a Nursing degree from Houston Community College. She has worked in Pediatric Vascular Access for over 15 years. Linda organized and initiated the vascular access team for Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital which is now Children’s Health Care of Atlanta. Linda began her career in PICC insertion back in the early 1990s, as the Owner of PICC Unlimited she specialized in PICC insertions serving Hospitals, Physicians’ offices, skilled facilities and Home healthcare in the Atlanta area. She and her business partner established and instructed their own continuing education classes for Insertion and Care and Maintenance of PICC lines. Linda has worked as a Nurse Manager (National Medical Care), PICC Coordinator (Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital), and Clinical Education Coordinator (Childrens Health Care of Atlanta). She is currently part of the PICC team and is a member and representative on the task force for vascular access at Childrens Health Care of Atlanta. Linda works for PICC Excellence as an Instructor teaching Pediatric/Neonatal Basic PICC Qualification Training with Ultrasound as well as the Adult Basic PICC Qualification with Ultrasound. Linda is an active member of the Association for Vascular Access as well as a member of Pedivan. She enjoys travel and spending time with her family.
Graphic Design Assistant
Jordan Moureau
Jordan is responsible for photography, videography and graphic design at PICC Excellence. She has been training with a professional photographer for 4 years and recently began her own photography business. Jordan does most of the photography for PICC Excellence, and assists George with the videography. She is proficient with InDesign and Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and has input on our brochures and all cover designs. Jordan also designs and executes Advertising for PICC Excellence. She most recently created an Ad for a European Journal.
Jordan recently completed High School a year early with a 3.4 GPA. She is an avid horsewoman, riding her handsome black gelding Maverick every day. She works part time at Linden Hill Farms as a trainer and prepares other horses for new riders. She loves to read, write, cook (especially when she has several helpers) and play with Maddie, her West Highland Terrier. Jordan is at college in Athens, Georgia. She plans to major in Graphic Design and Photography.
Facility Manager
Tammy Sanders
Tammy has been with PICC Excellence for several years. She makes sure the offices are neat and comfortable to work in. She's willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Tammy is very active at church where she volunteers on a bus and works with children. She has twins named Madison and Eli. Madison is in her third year of college pursuing a degree in Communication and Eli is a part-time truck driver. Her hobbies include walking and spending time with family.
