About PICC Excellence

PICC Excellence is an educational company committed to providing educational programs, certification, and continuing education credits for vascular access education. Our goal is to promote PICC education and provide a support network for anyone inserting PICCs and Midlines. We meet this goal by providing group training, online training, customized on-site training, and self study programs for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, radiological technologists, and respiratory therapists. We provide you with the tools, knowledge, and level of expertise to impart the best care for your patients using the latest techniques and technology.

We are an approved Continuing Nursing Education Provider by the Florida Board of Nursing, provider number FBN 2224 FL and the California Board of Nursing, provider # CEP 15304. All of our educational programs contain CNE opportunities including workshops, custom on-site training and self-study options. Most self-study programs are available in print/DVD format or may be completed on line. These options provide a convenient cost-effective way to earn CNE hours for licensure or certification/recertification. Our newly released PICC Certification Program is also approved by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) for 3 Contact Hours, CERP Category A, File number 00015170.

All of our programs meet the minimum requirements for a PICC approved program as outlined by the former PICC approval process of the education committee of the National Association of Vascular Access Networks (NAVAN) now AVA. We strive to maintain the most up-to-date education with implementation of changes at least every 6 months. Education is available on many levels from the beginning inserter to advanced level inserters as well as instructors.

We also provide a PICC resource hotline for you to call with any questions you may have specific to PICCs or Midlines. So whether you are interested in setting up an on-site class, the self-study program, or just need guidance with your current PICC program, we are here for you and we are glad to help you in any way we can.
